four-day weekend

“It was an Epic weekend and all the accolades belong to you.”

For their 50th reunion, the Niles West Class of 1976 committee handed Rewind Reunions the whole thing: the website, the music, and the tribute to the classmates who couldn’t be there.

What Rewind delivered

The website, the anthem, the tribute.

The reunion website

A custom-branded home for the class at nileswest76.com — hotel information, reservations, signups, and payment direction, plus a class memory portal, an event countdown, attendee tracking, email invitations, and a post-event gallery. Built from very little starting information, it became the committee’s single source of truth:

“The committee’s response to every inquiry and question was ‘…check the website… it’s on the website!’”

The reunion anthem — “The Niles West ’76 Song”

An original theme song written for the class — produced in-house, released in both its original and remastered versions on the reunion site, and used across the weekend:

“You won us over with the original theme song, personalized perfectly. It set the tone for everything.”

The In Memoriam tribute film

A 10-minute film with a scene for every departed classmate — never a slideshow. Each name appears inside a landscape: engraved on a plaque on beach driftwood, carved into a river stone among ferns, on a wine barrel, a birch trunk, a hand-painted sign at a misty lakeshore. No portraits, no dates. The score is three original songs written for the class, closing on the line: “Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.”

“A special shout out to you for what you created for our dear departed classmates. Everyone mentioned how creatively and meaningful you captured the memories.”

At Niles West, the tribute was the single most talked-about piece of the weekend — the moment the whole room went quiet.

The weekend, kept

Event media and a post-event gallery on the reunion site, with a final event montage cut from the weekend’s photos and footage — so the reunion lives on after the last dance, not just in a program left on a table.

In their words

The committee’s letter, in full.

It was an Epic weekend and all the accolades belong to you.

What you created with our website was truly remarkable and was the “talk of the town” all weekend long...

You won us over with the original theme song, personalized perfectly. It set the tone for everything.

With very little information you created, artistically bringing us all back to our beginning. The numerous sections including the hotel, reservations, signups and payment direction executed seamlessly, you made my job so easy. The committee’s response to every inquiry and question was “...check the website...its on the website!”

And a special shout out to you for what you created for our dear departed classmates. Everyone mentioned how creatively and meaningful you captured the memories. So professional how you handled the constant additions as we learned from our audience.

Best of luck with your website endeavors.
